The making of crystal is a highly disciplined craft. The master craftsmen at our glassworks run a tight ship.
The use of crystal, on the other hand, is a freewheeling affair.
We’ve eaten sugar cookies pressed with the bottom of our stemware and nuts served in our wine coaster. One customer told us they had a beautiful amaryllis happily flowering in their crystal wine cooler.
Who are we to argue if you put mustard pickles in our cranberry dish? After all it’s meant to be used and the rules for using it are meant to be broken.
